My Approach

"Often it is the individual's pre-verbal experience which contains the heart of any matter. Together we can come to see what lies hidden beneath your blanketed layers of Being."

Assisting individuals to meet undiscovered parts of themselves is central to my work as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.

Through the exploration of dreams, emerging thoughts and associated imagery, we gain the understanding necessary to work through your experiences and concerns.

The authenticity of the Client/Therapist relationship is the foundation of the work we will do together.

Influenced by numerous psychoanalytic scholars and specialists, and my techniques involve a combination of modalities.

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Dream Analysis, Visualisation, Somatic Psychotherapy and Talking Therapy are just some of the modalities utilised; informed by Freud, Jung, Klein, Winnicott, and Bion.

Somatic psychotherapy (Greek word "Soma" meaning 'the living body') holds that an understanding of the integration between body and mind are essential for individual change to occur.

In our work together we pay attention to the language of the body, as well as the mind.
